Okay, seriously...
...does it get any better than Ben Gibbard covering Nirvana in Seattle on piano?

Shooting from the hip...
Nothing of substance to talk about, just feeling the blogger guilt of not having posted in the last few weeks. It's a cloudy, but precipitation-free Saturday in the pdx, which is a bit frustrating because we cancelled a morning hike on Thursday becuase the weatherman said we'd be feeling the rain. I've come to the conclusion that a meterologist is one of the easiest gigs around. All you have to say is, "Chance of precipitation," and you're covered. I ain't fallin' for their voodoo anymore.
Regardless of our change in plans, it's been a pretty relaxing Saturday. Did some running around getting some beach gear for our vacation in a few weeks (Cabo...here we come!). The elders are team teaching tomorrow, so I put the finishing touches on my bit. Wrapping up the book of James. That guy doesn't pull any punches. It's hard for to teach on that book and have it not come across as a guilt trip. Now, Katie's on the phone with one of her homegirls and I'm...well I guess I'm blogging at the moment.
That's all for now. I might be headed up to Seattle tomorrow to sit in on a pub conversation about spiritual stuff...maybe (and hopefully) a little Jesus thrown in the mix. Haven't been up there in a while, should be time well spent.
That's all for now...I'll blog something more substantial within a few days. Maybe.

Hard earned rest...
Went on the Angel's Rest hike out in the Gorge after work on Thursday with Dan and Travis. I always forget how much I love the view, so I snagged the best part on film.
I love the summer light...this was taken at 8:30 PM!
